So, so close. Both girls are masters of pulling themselves up, can stand on their own, and we've seen them take one or two steps on their own as well. They still don't trust themselves to just take off yet, but we expect it any day now.
And with mobility, of course comes other joys; girls are now into everything. We've (finally) baby-proofed the living room, adjusted baby gates to kind of fence them into the couch/TV area, which seems to have been working OK. Even so, Daddy almost doesn't have enough synonyms to describe the:
Shenanigans
Mischief
Tomfoolery
Monkey Business
Uhhh....Frolic?
Girls had their 10 month appointment recently...which they were sick for. Little bit of a stomach bug apparently, both girls (and later mommy) couldn't keep anything down for about 8 hours or so, then were on the mend. Still, they seem to be doing well developmentally, no complaints from the doctors. We're fast approaching one year of course, and top teeth have begun to show up this past week in both girls.
