Kansas City Vacation May 2012 (Part 4)

Saturday of our Memorial Day weekend we went to the Jiggle Jam festival at Crown Center.

Before we went outside to the festival, the girls window-shopped in the mall.  The walls were large panes of glass with spacers holding them in place.  There was one spot where the spacer was missing between two panes.  Megan found it, got her finger in between, and of course got it stuck.  She panicked!  I was able to get her loose quickly, but she learned her lesson and didn't try to put her fingers between the panes any more!

  Megan, Kayla ..or Kayla, Megan....

We tried to go to Fritz's restaurant, but they weren't opened.  They did have a train car out front that the girls wanted to stay in as long as we allowed.  And then some.

At Jiggle Jam, the girls weren't interested in any of the music tents. But they loved the bubble tent!

They were excited to get balloons, and other silly things.

But their favorite part was the bouncey houses.  They had a lot of them!

There was a long train one, where the kids would go in one side -- climb over some obstacles inside, and come out the other end.  Kayla came out. Megan went back and forth inside. Several times.  She definitely got her money's worth on that run through!

Megan had more stamina than Kayla.

Kayla was done jumping, but Megan wanted to do a few more rounds.  So Mike and Megan stayed, and Kayla and I went back to the hotel room.

Later that day, we went to Legends Outlet Mall to the T-Rex Cafe.  While we waited for our table, we let the girls play at the fountain.

Each of the girls of course had to make the obligatory trip to the bathroom.  Megan was FASCINATED with the green flush handle.  So being the ultimate tourist, I took a picture of it!

They had a big day!
